Who are Roots Cycles?
We are a family-run, independent bike shop in Doune, Stirling – at the gateway of the Trossachs.
We are an official dealer for Trek Bicycle Corporation, and have just added Sour Bicycles and Whyte Bikes to our brands. We sell all types of bikes – from kids balance bikes to full suspension mountain bikes and carbon road bikes to electric bikes.
Our 5-star rated workshop services and repairs all types of bikes and is never too busy to repair a puncture.
With exceptional customer service at the heart of what we do, we are the bike shop that’s all about people.

Meet The Team
Martin
'Mr Roots’, co-owner and Director of the business, Martin loves a chat as much as he loves bikes. It’s the customers and their bike adventures, big or small, that make his day. Lover of all bikes, but first love is mountain biking.
Kirsty
‘Mrs Roots’, co-owner who largely lurks behind the scenes running the non-bike parts of the shop. Occasional mountain or gravel bike rider. Chief dog walker.
Grant
Grant is a brilliant mechanic and loves nothing more than a super slick, fast rolling hub bearing. Grant is a massive cycling fan and enjoys keeping up with the racing.
